Teletherapy

COVID-19 Office Update and Teletherapy

For the convenience, safety and comfort of our patients, the Anxiety and Depression Center is scheduling sessions via HIPAA compliant video platforms. Although we are located in Newport Beach/Orange County we are accepting new patients from the entire state of California, including Los Angeles.

Effective And Convenient Virtual Treatment

All of our clinicians offer  appointments via secure video platforms. Research shows that remote psychotherapy sessions are as effective as in-person therapy. Most patients enjoy the convenience of being seen remotely as it eliminates drive time to and from the office and the sessions can be done from the comfort and convenience of your own home. Telehealth sessions can be accessed from your computer, tablet or cell phone. You will have a unique and private link that your therapist will send you before your session. Simply click on the link and you will be in session with your therapist. Most clients report being very satisfied with their telehealth sessions.

In-Person Sessions, When Appropriate

All of our staff has been fully vaccinated. Some therapists are beginning to see patients in the office based on circumstances, and we are conducting psychoeducational assessment and testing in person. Some patients arealternating between in-person sessions and teletherapy, based on their schedules and needs. Rest assured that we are implementing safe CDC protocols while delivering the highest quality CBT therapy that we have been known for since 1984.
